Yung Joc to serve as Presenter for Atlanta

Bad Boy South artist Yung Joc is well known for catchy hits like “It's Goin' Down” and “I Know You See It”, but today (May 2) the Atlanta native will step out of the spotlight as he and others honor an exceptional group of elementary, middle and high school students from Atlanta.

The Choose Success Awards will honor and award students from Atlanta Public Schools and Dekalb County Schools who have made a difference through community service and who have also made significant improvements in school.

Yung Joc will act as presenter on awards night, presenting various awards to these students.

“It is an honor to give back to the community that has given so much to me. I feel honored,” Yung Joc told AllHipHop.com.

Choose Success is a program put into action by Communities In Schools and gives students the opportunity to give back to their own communities through small service project grants.

Other attendees of the Choose Success Awards include the first African-American female to serve as Chief Justice in Georgia, Georgia State Supreme Court Chief Justice Leah Ward Sears.

The event will take place at the Loudermilk Center from noon to 1:30 p.m. and 11 Alive News Anchor Brenda Wood will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies.

Yung Joc is planning on releasing his second album, Hustlenomics on July 31.
