Yung Joc on Waist Deep Soundtrack
The soundtrack to the action thriller “Waist Deep,” starring R&B singer Tyrese Gibson and rapper the Game, will be issued June 13 via Def Jam. The album features appearances by Yung Joc, Ice Cube, Ghostface Killah, Redman, Nate Dogg and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, among others.
As previously reported, the Game will make his acting debut as a vicious criminal leader in the Rogue Pictures film, which arrives in theaters June 23. The movie revolves around an ex-con named O2 (Tyrese) who is forced to go outside the law when his young son Junior is kidnapped in a carjacking.
Game’s 2005 debut album “The Documentary” (Aftermath/Interscope) bowed atop The Billboard 200 and has sold 2.3 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Tyrese’s last album, 2002’s “I Wanna Go There” (J), has sold 877,000 copies.
