Chicago Mayor gives Diddy key to city
Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was in Chicago on Friday to get the key to the city from Mayor Richard Daley, who declared it “Diddy Day.”
Diddy got a set of cuff links featuring the city seal.
He was honored not only for his music, but also for his efforts to give back to the inner-city communities like the ones in which he grew up in New York.
Diddy told the crowd that naming a day after him would guarantee that all the city’s residents would have “a great day.”
